Governance of the Club
The Management Committee meet as often as necessity demands. All members of the committee are empowered to call for such a meeting and this is done through the Secretary with each member of the committee receiving due notice. The selection committee should meet at least one week before each match to select appropriate teams.
Committee Meeting Minutes
All Minutes of the Committee meetings are displayed on the Bowls Notice Board in the Stokenham Parish Hall for members to be able to read and comment on.
Annual General Meeting
May 2023
The Annual General Meeting is held during the last week of April each year and the Secretary informs all members of the time and place 21 days in advance. The quorum for the AGM is set at one third of the membership. If an additional meeting is required the Management Committee is empowered to instruct the Secretary to convene a Special General Meeting at any time. In such a case the Secretary should give all members due notice of the time and place, together with the reason for calling the meeting.
The minutes of the AGM are displayed on the Parish Hall Notice Board. This may also include reports from the Secretary, Treasurer, Captain & Competition Secretary.
